The GQ-CWS Cylinder Weight Scale is used for monitoring SF6 gas usage when filling or removing SF6 gas. The scale is easily deployable in the field, or back at the shop when taking inventory. A rigid construction and safety chain provides a way to secure all cylinders while gas transmission is taking place. A collapsible design allows for easy storage and transport. The GasQuip GQ-CWS is a folding gas cylinder scale designed to measure the gas weight of a compressed gas cylinder. The diamond plated steel weighing platform is designed to withstand scrapes and bumps from the cylinder, while providing a grippy surface to stabilize the bottle. The scale has a safety chain to secure the bottle to the upright bar. A bright, backlit digital readout provides instant weight feedback to the operator. This scale was designed to meet the specification for the EPA and CARB guidelines on SF6 scales, which states “certified to be precise within 1% of the true weight and calibrated per manufacturers specification”.
