Gates TPU FlatClean™ Belts are an all-purpose polyurethane flat belt reinforced with aramid tensile members. The combination of a non-fraying polyurethane jacket material with sealed tensile members minimizes belt stretch, reduces re-tensioning, and extends belt life. Various high performance surface textures are available to meet specific product release, placement, and control needs. Smooth urethane surface allows superior cleaning at the microbiological level, facilitating an effective clean-in-place process. Sealed edges and cords prevent ingress of microbes and aramid tensile members limit belt stretch. FDA-approved / EU-compliant / USDA-accepted material reduces potential for contamination in food contact environments. Positive-drive design handles higher loads at lower belt tension versus flat conveyor belt. Easy installation – can be welded for endless construction or spliced with mechanical fasteners, including Gates PosiLace™.
