Explosion protected flange heaters are used to heat fluids in areas exposed to explosion hazards. The flange heater consists of tubular heating rods type GC-tube EX, flange plate, cooling section and explosion protected Ex-e terminal box. The GC-tube EX is based on our tubular heating rod (Ø 16 mm), which has proven its reliability for decades and has been enhanced for our GC-flange EX. The pressure requirements are fulfilled according to PED 2014/68/EU, those for explosive atmospheres according to ATEX 2014/34/EU. GC-heat quality demand All manufacturing steps of GC-tube EX and GC-flange EX are performed at our facility in Waldbröl (GERMANY) in order to meet our high quality demands. The in-house production of GC-tube EX allows the use of different materials for the tubular heating rods. Thus GC-flange EX may be used in various media.
