Modulating Control Valves of the series VARIVENT® are used for pressure control, rating and for mixing of liquids at different temperatures. Typical applications Gassing Yeast management Wort aeration or filling operations Special positioners are provided for high accuracy adjustment of the stroke length. Several kvs-values per nominal width may be set for optimising the valve to the specific process. Design The linear or equal percentage control cone is integrated in a fully cleanable, pocket-free VARIVENT® housing. The exchangeable valve seat and the control cone allow for easy alteration to change operating conditions. The open sight lantern facili tates visual inspection. Clamp connections between standard valve components allow easy and rapid assembly. The modulating control valves, series A and S, are suitable for wet room installation. The actuator can be reversed so that the valve functions spring-to-close/ spring-to open are select able.
