The GEBHARDT belt conveyor is designed for horizontal transport of containers, trays, cartons and polybags. The surface of the conveyor belt is determined depending on the specific application. The belt, however, always runs on a belt support that allows for sliding removal. This minimises the friction on the overall system and consequently increases its service life. The belt support can be made of either a coated chipboard or a steel sheet. With the exception of the belt on roller conveyor (24V), the belt conveyors are solely driven by a 400V drive station. Different drive drums can be used depending on the load ratio. In addition to horizontal conveying (type 300.01), differences in height can be bridged using the belt conveyor (type 300.10/.20). Depending on the downstream conveyor module, a feed belt (type 300.10) is used with a rising/falling belt conveyor. The feed belt is driven by the belt conveyor's overdrive and therefore does not require an additional drive. Unlike the other belt conveyors, the belt on roller conveyor (24V) and the belt conveyor (400V) with the end drive under the track cannot be used for reversing. Due to their low minimum installation heights and high speeds, they are particularly suitable as infeed belts for indexing conveyance goods into the existing material flow. The unit is operated at room temperature in closed rooms.
