Bitumen pumps Gear pumps or Rotary lobe pumps Steimel bitumen pumps are used in stationary and mobile asphalt mixing plants for continuous or batch production of asphalt. By changing the direction of rotation, the pumps can also be used for filling and draining bitumen tanks. Steimel bitumen pumps which are installed on special vehicles are applied for repairing the cracks in asphalt. Special Steimel pumps are available for processing abrasive polymer and recycled bitumen.
