The WW2000, manufactured by Gebuwin, is a worm gear winch that has a robust structure and its hoisting capacities are calculated according to the first cable layer on the cable drum. It has a load pressure break which allows it to hold the load at any required height during hoisting and lowering. It is safer that the spur gear winches, due to the fact that 50% of the braking is done by the friction loss in the transmission. It features a static safety factor of 4, square worm gear winch transmission and maintenance free bearings. Furthermore, it comes in a standard paint finish 1 layer (60 - 80 Micron), or zinc-plated finish (6 - 8 Micron) and is in compliance with EN13157, DIN 15020 and Ex types ATEX 95 (94/9/EG).
