GEI press-locked gratings are composed of flat cold-laminated insert bars pressed into existing notches in bearing bars. They are manufactures using techniques that guarantee a constant production quality (manufacture according to RAL GZ638) and are typically made from S235JR steel. Commonly used for manufacturing technical walkways and staircase steps, it is also used for aesthetic elements such as sun-breaker and privacy screens, as well as in construction for sections of façades, fencing and solid balustrades.
