The Gen3 Systems type 1001 drying cabinet is a freestanding, two-door unit specifically designed for air-drying printed circuit boards (PCBs) that have been conformally coated. It is necessary to protect the wet film from contamination during the drying process and to assist in safely evacuating solvent during the curing process and from the coating room environment. The unit incorporates individually adjustable cross-rods for the suspension of PCBs inside the cabinet. Intrinsically safe extraction is connected to a 150mm diameter spigot on top of the unit. Ambient air is drawn via gauze particulate filters on either side of the unit (at the base) - replacement filters are available.
