Description

The DUCTA-SCREEN™ Rotary Shakeout quickly and efficiently processes molds to separate and remove sand from castings. The DUCTA-SCREEN™ rotary shakeout is ideal when separating castings from flaskless molds. The self-contained unit reduces noise and improves sand separation from castings and sprue. The action of the rotary shakeout is smooth, yet it efficiently breaks down sand lumps and provides sand suitable for final screening of very fine sand. Our efficient liner designs offer increased open area over other liner technology, allowing faster separation of sand from your castings. Made with abrasion-resistant steels, forged drive components, and premium transmission components, GK’s DUCTA-SCREEN™ media drums are FOUNDRY-RATED™ to last. XL FEATURES: • Drum shell is not a wear item, saving you considerable maintenance funds and headaches. • GK fabricated liners are easier and safer to replace, and cost up to 75% less than cast grid systems. • Heavy-duty vibratory sand collection conveyor can screen different fractions and sizes of material. • Liner system eliminates compression rings, heavy cast liners, and excessive maintenance costs. • Available in standard and custom sizes to match your process design and throughput. SL FEATURES: • Sand is removed through the liner surface and is conveyed back to the inlet via internal flighting, which is specially designed to eliminate jams and blockages found with other liner technology. • GK’s LOCK-TITE™ liner cartridges are easier and safer to replace, and cost up to 75% less than cast grid systems. • Wear components are made of premium materials for extended uptime performance.
