The parts of the polypropylene metalized film capacitor are self-repairing, dry and protected against oil impregnation. This type of capacitor is ideally suited to power factor correction in non-fluctuating load applications or when the capacitor is switched at the same time as the load. The DSHI and DSHM series capacitors are offered in DSHI individual models up to 100 kVAR and in DSHM batteries up to 600 kVAR. Assemblies are available in models without a fuse, with 3 fuses and with 3 blown fuse indicators.
