Description

GEORGII KOBOLD – The KOD-MB line is a series of high-quality, AC-Induction, squirrel-cage brake motors with special mechanical characteristics. Through the use of smooth aluminum housings, molded stators and double-walled cooling jackets, the asyncronous KOD-MB brake motors are very robust and suitable for applications with intermittent operation and high switching frequencies. The proprietary, self-adjusting, working brake from GEORGII KOBOLD is maintenance free and provides stable performance over the entire life span of the brake. KOD-MB brake motors are characterized by a very long life, high overload capacity, smooth running characteristics and high reliability. If desired, they can also be fitted with external, B-side blowers for extra cooling. • High power reserve, robust construction and high reliability • High switching frequency with a very long life • Quiet and maintenance free • Maintenance-free self-adjusting brake • Available as a high-pole switchable posistop-Motors • Choices of different mounting versions • Double-jacket cooling • Blowers available as needed • Flanges according to DIN 42 955 (increased flange accuracy upon request) • Thermal class F • Compliant with IE2 according to EU Directive 640/2009 • Built-in thermal winding protection available • Also available as gear motors
