The René Gerber AG Company is not only a leading machine manufacturer of brush polishing and de-burring systems, but also a producer of small appliances such as pneumatic presses. Gerber Maschinenbau has been designing and building presses for precise bonding of small parts since 1999, mainly for the watch industry and sapphire industry. The pneumatic press is characterised by the enclosed space. By actuating the toggle lever, the door closes, whereby the pressure is only generated when the device is closed. Protection against trapping the hands is thus guaranteed. The simple operation is also worth mentioning, as the plate can be easily and optimally centred. Incorrect or faulty insertion of plates is not possible. The pneumatic press is optionally available with a cooled base and pressure plate. Cooling serves to harden the adhesive and simplifies the work step.
