Steel Spike

Gerdau's Rail Products Division is the largest producer of railroad spikes in North America. Our plants, conveniently located to minimize external freight costs for our customers, are located in Lancaster, S.C., Paragould, Ark., and Sand Springs, Okla. Gerdau operates state-of-the-art rail spike machines and produces more than 80,000 tons annually to the A.R.E.M.A. specification. We offer numerous packaging options including bulk shipments via gondola and dump truck. We can package rail spikes in metal containers of 50, 100, 150, and 200 lbs. and ship via boxcar, flatbed truck, closed van, or LTD. All Gerdau Rail Spike production locations are certified under Section J of the Association of American Railroads as specified in M-1003.​
