The MicroTherma 1 with microprocessor measures temperatures in the range -270 to 1768 ° C with a resolution of 0.1 ° C. Each thermometer includes a 4½-digit easy-to-read dual LCD display with open circuit indicator, low battery, "Hold", max/min and °C/°F. The thermometer should not require a recalibration thanks to its built-in microprocessor that allows the instrument to carry out continuous and automatic recalibration. In addition the user can adjust the reading (± 2,5 ° C) to compensate for possible errors of the probe. The thermometer will then display the known error on the screen and will be adjusted by maximizing system accuracy. The MicroTherma 1 has the versatility to accept any type of thermocouple ( K, J, T, R, N, S or E). The probe type is selected through the "mode" button. The thermometer stores both maximum and minimum readings with reset function and also has an auto-off system that maximizes battery life, this function could be deactivated if not needed.
