Threading is the process of creating a screw thread. There are many methods of generating threads, including subtractive methods, deformative or transformative methods, additive methods or combinations thereof. External threads are made with a die the operation is called threading. Below, we can see on left picture an external threading operation. And on the right a tapping operation
