Description

The CI21 edition of signalling devices have been exclusively engineered for sensing of ammonia in refrigeration plants. It works on the principle where a “Charge Carrier Injection” (CI) merges the specificity of electro-chemical sensors with the long-lasting capability of chemosorption sensors. There is removal of cross-sensitivities to lubricants, cleaning agents or hydrogen, with incorrect alarms that occur as a result. The detector transmission is balanced over a vast temperature spectrum, as it can be operated from -35°C to +55°C with extreme precision, any ammonia leaks are quickly sensed. In less than 8 seconds an alarm is prompted, even if very low gas concentrations of a few ppm or high concentrations in the % vol extent are dispersed. The CI21 edition transmitter covers a vast sensing concentration and functional temperature extent, unlike other sensors in the market.
