GIMAT uses the methods of batching or continuous dosing, and will produce screw extractors, gravimetric batchers and screw batchers. The machine ensures batching by weight precision. The RPM can also be adjusted using continuous hydrostatic variable-speed motors that have either manual or electrical control. Its minimum flow rate is equal to 1/5 of the maximum flow rate. It comes with gearmotors which are piloted by vector inverters and additional power ventilation. The minimum flow rate in this case is equal to at least 1/10 of the maximum flow rate. It uses load cells when operating by weight, gain in weight or loss in weight. The type of cells used determines the level of precision in the case of these gravimetric feeders. Its batches are obtainable according to the spirals/screws and reduction ratios applied to the screw extractor or screw batcher.
