With our own production process, which we have developed in-house, we are able to produce even very complicated profile shapes with logarithmic relief grinding. Normally, profile shapes are relief ground in radial direction. On request, we are also able to carry out logarithmic relief grinding of one-sided profile shapes in the radial and, slightly, in the axial direction (while retaining the exact shape of the profile). The logarithmic relief grinding of the form milling cutters for keys means that their cutting faces can be reground several times without changing the profile; the profile remains 100% constant and the life of the tool is that of a new tool.
