The prism milling cutters for keys can be produced with rounded tips of r = 0.01 (and greater) in order to substantially lengthen the service life of the tools. The logarithmic relief grinding of the prism milling cutters for keys means that their cutting faces can be reground several times without changing the profile; their shape remains 100% constant and the life of the tool is that of a new tool. Prism milling cutters for keys are normally straight fluted but on request we can also provide helically fluted cutters using logarithmic relief grinding.
