The telescopic piston is a side acting piston for direct lift applications and allows reducing considerably the vertical space of the shaft. Major travelling heights are possible without excavation works for the location of the plunger. This piston, in the 2- or 3-stage versions, is a valid alternative to the traditional lift system (2:1 lift application). The piston may be supplied with 1 – 2 fixing plates to be mounted on the guide support; this is to obtain major travelling heights at equal load. The piston is equipped with an upper swivel plate for the connection to the car frame.
