This telescopic piston is a central acting piston for direct lift application. It allows reducing considerably the size of the bore hole and represents a valid alternative to the single-stage pistons, where the bore hole cannot be excessively deep. Compared to direct single-stage pistons, the bore hole can be reduced to half the size (for 2-stages piston) or to a third (for 3-stages piston). The piston may be supplied with 1 – 2 fixing plates to be mounted on the guide support; this is to obtain major travelling heights at equal load. The piston is equipped with an upper swivel plate for the connection to the car frame and with a basement support plate. The in-ground part of the plunger is protected with a corrosion preventive coating. A PVC tape as well is supplied for protection from galvanic corrosion.
