The RCR-II is an innovative Capillary Rheometer to determine the flow behavior of rubbers under special physical processing conditions.
The test material is placed manually (or optional automatically via an autoloader) into the test barrel. A test piston is pressing the material with constant test force or constant speed through a capillary into free space. The material can be injected into a closed mold as option. The procedure is being performed at a pre-defined test temperature.
An integrated touch-screen monitor allows to operate the device, the parameterization, the performance of the test and the evaluation is handled by the PC software RubberView. The measured force, position and temperature are recorded electronically and transferred via Ethernet to the PC for further processing and evaluating.
The results are being displayed numerical as well as in curve diagrams and/or send out on a printer. The RCR-II is used in the field of research and development as well as for quality control and inspection of received goods.
