Your advantages
Unshielded and shielded connection cables with twisted pairs (UTP and STP cables) in installed networks as well as patch cables can be tested and verified. Coaxial cables with BNC and F sockets can be tested for continuity using the RJ45 coax adapter. One unit is automatically configured as master and one as slave. The advantage of using two master units is that the status of the tests can easily be read on both devices to simplify and speed up the measurement process. With a battery life of up to 100 hours, the measuring operation rarely needs to be interrupted.
Occurring errors such as interchanges, interruptions, short circuits and shielding faults are indicated on the graphic displays of the units. There is no need for cumbersome recording of flashing and illuminated LEDs. The KE7000 provide clear, fast and immediately evaluable status information on both sides on the LCD displays for cable lengths up to approx. 150 m.
If external voltage is present on the cables to be tested, a warning is given and the polarity of the pins is displayed.
