DESCRIPTION
Continuous tumble belt blast machine is ideal for blasting of serial-produced work pieces, as well as for sensitive, large components with demanding geometry. The weight of work pieces can vary from few grams up to 50 kg.
Work pieces are continuously fed into the machine and travel through the machine in the same manner. Contrary to the conventional batch tumble belt machines there is no major height drops, which could cause damage of work pieces. Work pieces move slowly and rotate simultaneously. Due to adanced caterpillar system, the transport of work pieces is accurate and equal for all work pieces. Cleaning - blasting is double, from rolling and from impacts of blasting media.
The main part of machine represents caterpillar tracks, which are divided into the input, blasting and output part. The caterpillar tracks consist of a polyurethane lamellas, which are attached to the belt. Polyurethane lamella is made of a steel core and polyurethane parts. Polyurethane parts have special bumps that allow gentle rolling of work pieces.
Caterpillar tracks can be pulled out of the machine, which enables easy maintenance.
The quality of blasting is better than with batch tumble belt machines or spinner hanger machines, wherein less energy is used for blasting wheels. The reason for high blasting efficiency and relatively low energy consumption is short distance between blasting wheels and work pieces. This enables optimal use of blasting energy with very low energy losses compared to other types of blasting machines. In order to achieve the same efficiency, for example spinner hanger machine would use 50 - 80 % more energy.
