The 400 and 400-P series are range of isothermal, thermal conductivity detector (TCD) gas chromatographs that are capable of delivering high performance while enduring tough applications. These are solid, compact, and economical GCs which adheres the demands for teaching the principles of gas chromatography, chemistry, and biochemistry. The devices accomodate 1/8” or ¼” o.d. metal or 6 mm glass columns and has a direct on-column injection or gas sample valve. It is microscale compactible and has a signal amplifier. It also operates in temperatures ranging as high as 300°C and runs on 110-220 V, 50-60 Hz of power. The 400 series replaced the Series 350 GC back in January 2005.
