Ion exchange resin Ecocote® E-100

Ecocote® is a homogeneous precoat product comprised of inert microfine cellulose fibers. The individual fibers are effectively processed to create a flocced structure and enhance the hydraulic permeability of the product resulting in longer run times. Ecocote is designed to work in conjunction with Powdex® precoat resins or to be used by itself. These products are applied to cartridge filtration systems such as condensate filter demineralizers to combine the unit operations of fine filtration and ion exchange. Optimal performance is achieved when precoating on Aegis® polypropylene wound and DualGuard® precoat septa.
