The dissolver is used for desagglomeration and wetting of solids in a liquid base. It is the interplay of mass acceleration and friction, which provides the basis for the optimal product-specific shear rate. Typical applications are found in the production of paints and lacquers, primers, inks, adhesives, coatings, creams and ointments.
Properties
The laboratory and pilot plant dissolver are ideal to analyze and optimize the overall mixing process of a specific product. The gained process knowledge can be used to scale up the machine to the desired production size:
Laboratory-Dissolver Typ GFD 30 L with 3,0 kW drive power and a mixing shaft speed between 300 – 6.000 1/min.
Pilot-Plant-Dissolver Typ GFD 30 T with 3,0 to 7,5 kW drive power and a mixing shaft speed between 200 and 2.800 1/min. Vessel clamping system between 190 and 550 mm.
