TUBE CRIMPER FOR DOUBLE, TRIPLE OR SADDLE FOLDING The GRISOTUB MS is an efficient, manually or semi-automatic driven crimping device for metal tubes. 2 to 8 tubes can be sealed on one working cycle. The holders used to supply the tubes are custom made. Approx.10 tube samples per diameter are required to produce the tube holder. Three types of GRISOTUB MS are available. FEATURES - fast operating closing appliance for serial crimping of metal tubes - type MS-2/3; manually driven version for double or triple fold - type MS-2/3 M; semi-automatic version for double or triple fold - type MS-S; manually driven version for saddle fold - up to 1'500 tubes per hour can be sealed (depending on the tube diameter) - perfect in small and middle sized production lot HOW THE MANUAL CRIMPERS WORK The folding type is selected by height adjustment. The filled tubes are placed on the tube holder. The holder is placed between the sealing guides. The tube ends are then squeezed (avoiding overpressure) and are ready to be sealed. After the holder is centered in the unit the closing process is released by rotating the crank twice. Working with the type MS-S, the tube holder is now rotated 180° and a third rotation of the crank produces the saddle fold to securely seal the tube. HOW THE SEMI-AUTOMATIC CRIMPER WORKS The folding type is selected by adjusting the height. The filled tubes are placed on the tube holder. The holder is placed between the sealing guides. The ends are then squeezed (avoiding any overpressure) and are ready to be sealed. After the holder is centered the closing process is released by pushing the buttons on both sides of the appliance.
