PETRO PLUG® 410 Hydrocarbon filter plugs for soil drainage and retention floors Part of the SPI® filter technology, the PETRO-PLUG® range is the French and European reference for filtration cartridges for rainwater contaminated with hydrocarbons and esters for small retention volumes. Designed in rigid PVC to increase resistance and durability, the PP410 is a cartridge specially designed to fit easily on pipes. The filter ensures continuous filtration of this drainage water, while trapping harmful hydrocarbons, thus preventing soil pollution. The filtered flow rate is approximately 5l/min depending on the model and should be changed every 3 years. The filter contains a mix of oleophilic and hydrophobic polymer components that permanently trap the oils. In the event of a major oil spill, the component reacts and forms a plug, preventing any fluid from being released into the environment: the system is self-locking and works without any mechanical parts or electrical connections. In all cases tested, the oil concentration of the water leaving the filter is less than 5 ppm. Patented system, ideal for outdoor retention tanks (flexible, metal or concrete), easy to use and can be adapted to any pipe. Vertical use in the direction of flow.
