Set of 4 Teflon (PTFE) insulating plates to electrically insulate the transformer from its support and promote mass-tank insulation. The plates are placed between the bottom supports of the electrical transformer (profiles, rollers) and their supports (drip trays, fire dampers, sills, etc.).
Description
The insulating properties of Teflon allow the transformer to be electrically isolated from its support, with the characteristics required to promote mass-tank insulation. Sold in packs of 4.
PTFE sheets: excellent insulating and thermal properties
PTFE sheets are an excellent electrical insulator and have a high surface resistivity. They are also resistant to electric arcs and have a very low electrical loss factor.
They are non-combustible and highly resistant to high and low temperatures, thanks to a melting point of 327°C. With its non-stick and non-wetting surfaces, its wear resistance is suitable for supporting loads (glass, carbon or graphite). Thanks in particular to their extensive chemical resistance, PTFE sheets are weather-resistant and do not absorb any moisture during rainy periods.
Please choose the pre-cut sheets that suit you from the different sizes and thicknesses, taking care to check your available support surface and the insulation class you are looking for.
Accessories and options
The PTFE range comprises 6 references depending on the voltage of your transformer, its dimensions and the electrical insulation required.
