Pre-filtration box for PETRO-PLUG® filter cartridge Use and design: The THPP pre-filter box is always placed in the retention area at the point of entry of water into the filter. The internal foams of the pre-filtration box are to be washed with clear water as many times as required by the place of use, the frequency of rinsing depending on the quantity of impurities brought by the environment in which it is installed the filer. Made of aluminium, the THPP box is filled with foam and geotextile that filter and trap impurities in the water. The THPP is designed to equip only one PETRO-PLUG® filter. Its diameter should be chosen according to the diameter of the filter it covers. For another configuration, other models of pre-filtration boxes are available : please consult us. Installation & maintenance: The pre-filtration box THPP must be installed above the filters PETRO-PLUG® by screwing it to the floor. The equipment should be cleaned at least once a year by rinsing with clean water. In difficult conditions (important presence of leaves, dust, sand or any other element that can block the pre-filtration system), maintenance must be carried out more regularly. Without major incidents, it is recommended to change the internal components every 5 years. Box delivered without screws and fixing to the ground, as these accessories depend on the location of the installation and the thickness of the concrete.
