The E/COVERBIRD range from Midsun® comprises two references of high-temperature vulcanized silicone covers. They are designed to fit all types of transformer bushings enabling thermographic measurements on conductors while protecting birds and rodents from electrocution. Description The E/COVERBIRD silicone cover is made of high-temperature vulcanized silicone, designed to fit all types of bushings on HV grid electrical transformers. These insulating covers prevent animal-caused faults on substation and distribution equipment up to 35 kV phase-to-earth. E/COVERBIRD are flexible and adjustable for easy assembly and disassembly, without leaving residues or the need to cut electrical connections. They can be easily disassembled, use no plastic, or glue, and install without heat-shrink.
