GENO®-UV “drinking water design” devices disinfect clear drinking water which is free of turbidities, iron and manganese and only slightly microbiologically loaded, for use in building services and for private water supplies. The maximum output of the systems is 12.0 m³/h at spectral attenuation coefficient of 254 < 2.7 m-1 . The devices in the series are fitted with a selective UV device sensor. The output of the UV systems is specially defined for the customer's water quality, therefore a minimum room irradiation (DVGW work sheet W 294-1) of 400 J/m² can be assumed if the device is operated correctly. Here, a reduction rate of 99.99% is achieved for viruses and bacteria.

Installation requirements
Water analysis is absolutely essential prior to installation. During installation, note the height of the union nuts (up to 42 mm). Local installation directives, general guidelines (e.g. DIN, VDE, DVGW, ÖVGW or SVGW), in particular DVGW work sheet W 294, must be observed. The installation site must be frost-proof. The UV disinfection device should be installed in pipelines that correspond to its nominal diameter.
