Automatic water softener Weichwassermeister® GSX

The Weichwassermeister® GSX 10-l is a strong performer in commercial and industrial applications for the generation of production or industrial water. Softened water of < 0.1 °dH is usually required there. The directives of DIN 19636-100 do not apply here. Model GSX 10-l is a compact, volume-controlled system that works in an alternating process. The two-part plastic housing with engineering section and brine tank can be separated for maintenance. The Weichwassermeister® GSX 10-l uses the principle of ion exchange and with freely configurable blending, produces soft water. The water softener, which is controlled by a water meter, is operated with economy salting. The ion exchange resin is automatically disinfected during regeneration, which lasts only 20 minutes. The self-running start-up program, microprocessor control and digital display are all user-friendly. The device contains the “Total hardness” water test kit and connection block R 1" with water meter screw connections. A drinking water filter and, in some cases, a pressure reducer (e.g. BOXER® KD) must be installed upstream of the systems. The installation site must be frost-proof and the filter protected against chemicals, dyes, solvents and vapours. A safety socket is required within a range of approx. 1.2 m of the system. A drain connection for the discharge of the regeneration water must be available.
