Chain lubrication pinions are a very reliable, clean alternative for lubricating chains.
As with the lubricating of gearwheels, the lubricant passes through the axle and corresponding holes into the foam material, the pinion ensures quiet running.
The open-cell PU foam rollers transfer the lubricant in a point-wise manner to the surfaces of the lugs of roller chains. The mechanical force to drive the rollers is ensured by a low-wear plastic pinion. Chain lubrication pinions are designed for use with oil and at an operating temperature range between -30 °C and +60 °C. Special models suitable for larger temperature ranges are available on request.
Spring steel sheets allow the chain lubrication pinions to be installed quickly and easily. A light preload ensures the continuous supply of lubricant; a further advantage of this type of installation is that the whole assembly can flexibly yield to fluctuations and vibrations.
The spring steel sheet is available in both short and long versions and can be combined with an angled axle.
