Description

The general provisions for “Electromagnetic devices and components” were considered in accordance with DIN VDE 0580 during development/design. This direct current (DC) single-action solenoid with plunger and punched yoke bar uses a cost-effective pull actuator design. The plunger is mounted directly within the coil body. Stroke limitation is configured externally by the customer. If required, and for an additional fee, we can increase both the magnetic force and the solenoid lifetime. If required, and for an additional fee, you may also receive: •An additional plunger return spring •A yoke bar with lateral threading •A plunger with internal threading or groove (pull actuator design) •A plunger with an additional thrust rod (push actuator design) •A plunger or pole core with an additional anti-adhesive disk (remanance discharge) Coil design The coil body has two mounted MAG MATE leaf terminals for inserting tabs on the customer side. Other coil connectors can also be provided at additional costs (for special coil body tools). Protection class IP00, DIN EN 60529 (VDE 0470-1) Thermal class B (temperature threshold 130 °C), VDE 0580 Characteristic magnetic force curves Magnetic forces shown assume a medium coil winding factor, maximum heating and 90% of rated voltage. For series produc-tion, reduce forces specified by a factor of ~0.8.
