Processor handheld measuring instrument for pH, mV and temperature measurement.
GRYF 259 is a microprocessor-controlled, battery-operated measuring instrument. A device designed to measure pH, electrical voltage and temperature. Its ergonomic shape allows one-handed operation, so it is suitable not only for laboratories, but also for field work and operations. The device is controlled by four buttons that are similar to the PC: use arrow keys UP, DOWN, ESC, ENTER. The multifunction display (LCD) clearly displays all measured variables and other accompanying data and messages. The display shows the main measured value (conductivity, pH or mV) and the accompanying temperature variable.
GRYF 259 is equipped with an ORP measuring capability or with different ISEs to measure ion activity.
Properties
The pH measurement function is equipped with automatic temperature compensation, ie. when measuring the pH (displayed on the display), the temperature used for calculating the final displayed value is measured at the same time.
Any single or combined pH electrode can be used to measure the pH. An electrodes for measuring ORP or different ISE can be connected to the mV meter input.
Two-point pH meter calibration can be performed at different preset pH values of the calibration solutions. After the calibration has finished, the instrument evaluates the pH of the electrode.
If the device is equipped with a voltage output, the measured data can be transferred to another device (eg. recorder).
The device is powered by a 9V battery. A drop in its voltage is indicated by the "Bat" message. The automatic shutdown is set to 5 minutes.
