The R158 Series is range of optical incremental encoders from Gurley. The encoders are designed for industrial-class operations that demand an optimal resolution and accuracy.
The models of the R158 Series operate at resolutions up to 250,000 cycles/rev at 0 to 70°C and 50,000 cycles/rev at -40 to 100°C. They feature an LED display that operates for more than 100,000 hours. The encoders also have differential photo-detectors designed to provide good stability of the signals and an IP64 sealing to operate in tough environments.
