The A08 Series is a range of magnetic absolute encoders from Gurley. The series is engineered for light industrial applications which require up to 12-bits of resolution in a compact package. It runs on a +5VDC power supply that consumes less that 50 mA of current.
The series produces a maximum mechanical speed of 6000 rpm and operational speed of 1000 rpm. It operates in temperatures ranging from -40C up to +85°C. The vibration rate of this device is estimated at 50 m/sec² and its shock at 300 m/sec². Furthermore, this device also has an IP50 degree of protection.
