The 9710 series is read head that is configurable for applications that involve rotary disc and linear scale. Its modular layout permits operation without any friction and its wide range of disc sizes makes the product flexible. The optical resolution of the product is increased when it is used with the other interpolating decoder. For optimum system reliability, built-in functions augments the natural binary position output. The Model 9710is a versatile read head that can be configured for use with either a rotary disc or linear scale. Its modular construction provides friction-free operation, and the wide selection of disc sizes gives the design engineer great flexibility. When used with the Model VAor other interpolating decoder, its optical resolution is electronically increased.
