manufactured by GPI is an optical and absolute linear encoder that has a wide variety of models; these are the LA18, LA20, LA25 and the LA35. These devices has different structures and capacities of measuring. The LA 18 has a compact size and has the capacity to measure lengths up to 1.2 m. The LA20 also has compact size like of the LA 18 and measures up to 1.5 m. Meanwhile, the LA 25 and LA 35 are made up with a sturdy structure and has the capacity to measure lengths up to 2.0 m. The LA optical and absolute linear encoders are equipped with ASIC that caters a fine resolutions of 0.5 µm in the SSI format. All of the LA Series are protected with an ingress protection state of IP-53.
