Safe and controlled manual blow off of dust, dirt, powder, carbon deposits and particle debris in a contained environment.
The usage of a blow-off gun or airline has been commonplace to remove swarf, dust, dirt, powder, light oils etc from components but there are a number of potential hazards with this practice.
Air hose line pressures can cause swarf or other particles to fly off at high speed into the eyes of operators or bystanders. And further injuries can be caused by discharging air-lines with the nozzle held close to the skin e.g. when clothing is dusted down or from fooling around. Other problems can also include dust explosions from dispersing flammable dust or the dispersal of toxic material into the air and also high noise pollution from airlines.
All of the above can be addressed by adopting a ‘best practice procedure’ with the introduction of a Guyson Airwash cabinet, which are commonly used for a variety of cleaning tasks including cleaning filters and pumps and removing synthetic graphite dust from EDM electrodes after machining.
Guyson’s Airwash cabinets are based around the high-quality Guyson Euroblast® and Formula blast cabinets and utilise all the benefits of the high-quality solid metal construction with folded and welded metal joints and tight-fitting doors to maintain the integrity of the blow-off chamber and thus not leak dust, dirt, debris and noise into the work environment. They are also coupled with a powerful dust collector, to maintain high operational visibility, provided as standard with all Guyson cabinets.
And Airwash doesn't need to equate to small cabinets. We build them large as well.
