Rotary spindle automated blast cabinets for components loaded by hand or by a robot. Guyson International offers the Rotary Spindle Blast (RSB) as a first step on the automation ladder. Rotating components in front of fixed or moving blast guns and nozzles produce a quality of surface finish coupled with high productivity, which just cannot be achieved with manual sandblasting cabinets. The Guyson Multiblast® RSB machine delivers consistent and effective finishing results that add value to your components. The Guyson Multiblast RSB is equipped with a single rotary work spindle (or table rotating on the spindle) on which the component is placed, usually in a specially designed fixture. The machine can be either loaded by hand or robot. Guyson Multiblast RSB automated shot blasting machines can be specified as either suction or pressure fed system and usually is complemented with cyclone separator and dust collector - in an appropriate size, depending on the application. The RSB model has recently been upgraded and now incorporates roof-mounted servo drives to provide saturation coverage from the attached blast guns across the entire rotating table; allowing full blast coverage to multiple components positioned on the table. For optimum component blast coverage, the machine can be provided with either horizontal or vertical servo driven gun drives. Both provide 500 mm of precise traversing travel, either across the turntable for full saturation coverage or vertically stroking (up and down) taller components to provide uniform coverage, whilst the part rotates on the turntable.
