The Guyson RXS900 blast cabinet is usually fitted with an indexing rotating turntable that has six evenly spaced revolving work spindles (a twelve station version is also available), which index through the process area presenting the components accurately and for a precise amount of time in front of the blast guns.
Blasting takes place at two of the six spindles, which are positively driven by a toothed belt to ensure an even blast coverage during rotation of the component. Components can be either manually, pick and place or robotically loaded and unloaded depending on volumes, handling complexity and subsequent operations.
A suction or pressure fed media delivery system, media separator and dust extraction system make up a complete installation and these items are specified to match each specific application.
