Guyson offers a range of dust collectors designed and developed to match the operational and environmental requirements of each Guyson blast system. Cabinet size, air input through the blast gun, the application and whether the cabinet usage is intermittent, regular or continuous are all factors in choosing the correct dust collector. The Formula range of blast cabinets comes complete with either the model 21 or 41 dust collector - dependent on the size of the cabinet. Both models use fabric bag filters and are fitted with manual shake systems which need to be operated periodically to prevent dust build-up and the filters blinding. Both of these models are suited to light-duty or periodic usage. The Model 21 features two filter bags and Model 41 - 4 bags. The Guyson model C400 dust collection unit is a highly efficient unit for filtering out and collecting the dust-laden air from the blast cabinet and uses a single cartridge filter. The heavier particles extracted from the blast cabinet are deflected downwards towards the collection bin, whilst the lighter particles are retained on the surface of the filter. This model is generally used for medium-sized Euroblast cabinets and for more industrial applications/usage. The model C400 can also be specified with a range of options including secondary filters (EPA & HEPA) and explosion relief panels - chosen when blasting potentially more explosive materials such as nickel or titanium.
