Drilling mud from different stages goes through solid-liquid separation, stable solidification and liquid recycling through chemical and physical methods. The system is highly integrated with modular skid mounted equipment for different needs.
Drilling mud is produced in reservoir exploration and development. The waste mud consists of a large quantity of hydrocarbons, heavy metals, minerals and macromolecule organic compounds, which can cause potential damage to the surrounding soil. Currently, two methods are commonly used in mud treatment, but none of them are perfect. The solidification and landfill technique cannot treat the mud completely and such a method may take up arable land. The other way of constructing treatment plants may give rise to much cost in transportation and secondary pollution. Alternatively, Haimo ESG has developed a new mud control technique and treatment, resulting in no contact between soil and waste mud, which has been applied to most of the major fields in China.
