Industrial Profibus optical-electric module converts the Profibus signal into the fibre optic signal for the long-distance transmission. The optical-electric conversion module permits prolonging the transmission distance of the serial port by 5km at most (multimode fiber) This series of the modules also allow the selection of ABpass® outage light path protective module and support the equipment function of the automatic optical bypass under the circumstance of the power outage.
