The programmable axes are described as followers
Axis X: cross-feed of wheelhead with grating scale full close-looped
Axis Y: High speed adjustment of grinding attachment with grating scale full close-looped
Axis Z: Table longitudinal movement with grating scale full close-looped
Axis A: Adjustment of helix angle with angular encoder full close-looped
Axis B: Swivel of wheelhead with angular encoder full close-looped
Axis C: Rotation of work spindle with angular encoder full close-looped
The flank grinding of worm can be carried out by the synchronous movement of the axes X, Z, B & C

Accuracy of enveloped toroidal worm can be grade 5。
【Technical characteristics】
1、Applying the principle of virtual center distance, the adjustment of center distance and base circle can be done by setting parameters。
2、The two flanks can be ground in one setting-up。
3、All adjustments are at servo axes, so rapid, precise and easy。
4、Either servo axis for turntable or adjustment of helix angle is driven directly by a torque motor, therefore, featured of precision & long life。
5、Thanks for a powerful wheel spindle with a built-in permanent-magnet motor, and a precise balancing of wheel, which featured of little vibration, an excellent surface quality is obtained。
6、The axial position in the central plane of the toroidal worm is determined automatically with the help of an aligning probe
