Schmidt & Co. presents DN1 tension meter. It offers 12 tension ranges between 20 - 120 cN to 5 - 50 daN. The robust mechanical tension meter is highly versatile with applications in textile, fibre and wire industries. For the textile industry, the application range is from 120 up to max. 50000 tex. For the wire industry, it offers a diameter range of 0.13 to 2.5 mm copper wire. Fluctuating and changing tensions are quickly shown on the analog display. The display also allows an efficient process adjustment. The tension meter features an integrated material thickness compensator. With this feature, various material diameters are compensated for a specific range (only for ranges DN1-1000 and above). It has a big, high visibility scale with a diameter of 54 mm. The scale is linearized, leading to improved readability. The tension meter has shock-resistant movement. Running material is easily acquired thanks to the filament guide and the roller shifting feature.
